Wood is a renewable resource, but this does not mean that it can be used indiscriminately. We care about the protection and responsible management of our forest heritage , which is why we strive to make the most of all that the raw material has to offer.
To minimise waste, in our factories are equipped with heat production systems that uses the waste material produced when processing timber (sawdust, wood shavings, wood chips). This makes it possible to reduce the amount of waste to be disposed of while also limiting the environmental impact, since the emissions resulting from complete combustion are non-polluting.
The same system is also used to feed the drying oven.
