The Praesidia company produces and markets medical-surgical aids. The production site, in Altedo in the province of Bologna, covers over 300 square metres and includes a highly specialised laboratory. It is here, in fact, the company manufactures its nationally and internationally patented Flexigrip device. The building also houses a meeting room that can accommodate more than 30 people.
Built in 2011 using the frame system, and an innovative design featuring a large window and white lamellar fir roof, the laboratory is designed to be highly resistant to seismic activity. In fact, during the earthquake that struck the Emilia region in 2012, the building did not suffer any damage at all.
